Hi Molly;

Try pulling a single underdeveloped character into your life for a while, asking them questions that have nothing to do with the story. Find out what kind of music they like, what they do for fun, what they're good at, and especially, find out their secret. Let them hang out with you until you get a stronger sense for who they are.

Thanks for your compliments! Understand that with world building, every decision is going to impact other aspects of the world, which will then impact your story. Try starting by creating a map, because that will force you to make a lot of key decisions: how many rivers or mountains or desert or jungle areas. What countries surround yours and are they friendly? Consider how cities form in real life: usually along waterways or near ports. Those will likely be your bigger population areas. Just by putting the map together, you will already be well on your way to making key decisions for your story. Good luck!

I love your books! Sage is one of my all-time favorite book characters ever, I read all 4 books in 4 days! I can't wait for this book launch. Here is a question i have: How do you come up with such strong characters in your books? They all have some similar aspects, but each of them are so unique too. When i write, I always end up taking so much time figuring out one character, that the others aren't what i want them to be. Do you have any tips on that? Thanks!
